I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve here? Save money? Get the best setup? get the simplest setup?

If you're going to go down the APM route why not go with the MinimOSD and the APM PowerManager, they cost peanuts and it wont require you to have a secondary GPS / current sensor etc. etc.

In this hobby the best way to build a reliable setup is to buy the best components you can afford and keep it as simple as possible...

Then once your happy leave it alone! :D which means doing it one way now and changing it again in a few months will just cause you grief.

Totally agree.  This is an interim temp fix for a RTL in a new fixed wing.  I will put the AMP  back in the Quad and sell the Remzibi when I have the FY31 and Hornet delivered.  I have no need for OSD in the Quad.

The APM 2.5 is the best investment I have made! Takes a bit figuring out but once you have - it has enough features to keep you interested for a long time! Would also recommend throwing in the 433Mhz telemetry while you are at it!

Hi we bit the bullet and got a FY-41AP, arrived today so started to install.  Not so easy there are 2 versions of instructions and all in Chinglish.  Due to bad interpretation we have managed to burn out 1 video tx already and still not got it working.
