A thoroughly fantastic day once again. Thanks to Richard for organising the event and a special thank you to Gt. Haseley for their support and use of the cricket field.

We had a few spectators on the day who were intrigued and flew passenger with some pilots which was great!

By far the most fun I had was weaving in and out of the bushes either chasing or being chased by two or three other pilots. I have less video than I'd like but have a great sequence of two wings and a Tri in formation flying circuits.

Props go to Dogzilla for his flight which the footage looked magical, even on a small screen.

So we didn't quite get the frequency board thing working and there were some confusions about when to turn on; at one stage I was 50m up carrying out a 45 degree turn and then had a lovely image of grass and Daisys which was a little worrying.

I believe we all had a few flights. I got about 4 plus the time trial so please let me know if you felt a little left out and we will try the booking slot whiteboard system again next time.

That's a close call on the first corner of your second lap, I think this needs referring to the clerk of the course!

dogzilla

Here is my speed run, definitely not as quick as the top two but I recon there is a lot to be made up in piloting :)

Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

Badlands

What a fantastic day & great bunch of chilled-out fliers.
BIG thanks to Wayne & Neil for organising the speed contest - always fun!
Of course Rich gets a BIG thanks also for setting up this outstanding meet.
It's all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense...

Ha, nice try Neil! The fact I can see the corner must of meant I went around it ;D Think of it as using the curb :D

Mine's on the way, but it seems a Core i7 Macbook Retina isn't powerful enough to render Mad Dogs content!

I managed to corrupt 4 of my Horyzon HD3 files by powering off before shutting down recording... attempting to recover

Here you go chaps. Sadly I don't have HD on the Falcon and transcoding the DVR footage causes an issue in FCP at the moment, so only footage from the Ninturi:

Personally I can't wait for Badlands' video, the way he was tracking the action's going to bring one helluva' video!

Thanks to Rich for an amazing day and apologies to everyone I hit, probably too many of you to name you all!

Neil.
