She starts taking shape.
Still wiring ,electronics etc:.

Can't decide to build gimbal with 3 legs that rotate together with YAW axis "will use huge DYS motor" or do two nice folding legs like i use in my Y6 - that will give less stress for YAW motor ,but less camera protection.
Aluminium arms - will finish polished and shiny with endcaps + wires hide inside tubes.
on picture is with 15" props.
Size is 900cm - beetwen engine shafts.

Looks a good starting point Marcin, what brought on the need for a Hex, thought you were in love with the Y6 ?
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

Just don't like to do nothing when it's raining outside  :)

Looks ace, mate.
I'd personally go for the 3 leg option instead of retracts. Better protection and lighter.

marcin

thanks for comments  :D
Yes Hase I decide to go with 3 rotating legs setup.
Will upload pictures soon how my gimbal and legs will looks like asap I got my computer sorted.

Gimbal prototype is done.
Try to keep it simple as possible ,but still can adjust any possible way I like  ;D
This is for Nex or GH3 just different balance adjust beetwen cameras.
Gimbal is really rock solid and stiff.

Here is first preview:.

marcin

after adjust tube lenghts ,balancing etc:. gimbal is a lot smaller

marcin

add second arm that support Roll engine with bearings for more heavy cameras
