Guys I've got a Hitec Eclipse QPCM with both a FRSKY, and the original 35MHZ Spectra module...

Obviously for FPV the FRSKY is out of the question, but has anyone sucessfully used this TX for FPV?

TIA

I had seen somewhere a PPM inject module thing you could use to add 2 more channels to the TX... someone said they'd got it working with the Eclipse. Definitely seen a vid of it working on the Optic 6, but they used an 8 channel rx.  I suppose we'd need a 9 channel RX  :dunno:

I guess 5.8Ghz for VTX is still an option for me, tbh I'd thought 35MHz RC + 2.4GHz was the best solution here in the UK, but continuing to use 2.4 for rc is certainly appealing!  As I already have a 35MHZ tx, it seemed to be sensible.

I wonder how long it will be before 35MHz goes the way of C60 Cassettes, and everyone uses 2.4 for RC... 5.8 will certainly make more sense for us FPV'ers then anyway!
