Here's my white K-Quad, fully kitted out now and flown its maiden. It has the equipment listed on the first post, plus an immersionRC 600mA VTx, one of Bignose13s 5.8gHz antennas and an 808 #16 D type keychain camera which doubles as an FPV camera and a flight recorder. LoS footage to come when I receive my GoPro headmount.

I'm annoyed that the weather has been so bad recently but CurryKitten has done some flights now on his and has some video in his thread http://www.fpvhub.com/index.php/topic,17287.0.html.

Hi all,
It flys!  :) Just had a (very) brief hover in the bedroom, gains are a bit high and a couple of props need balancing but nothing fell off! Spent this evening making a custom set of very short Rx~KK leads, tomorrow at work I'll probably drill a hole in the top plate just aft of the KK board recess for the ESC wires.
I kind of hoped to have this thing flying last weekend but I ended up spending four days in bed with 'flu. As I'm a slow builder anyway that hasn't helped progress.
Things to do: Drill hole for Rx Antenna tube, fit VTX, camera (s), terminate the white wire to the +V monitor pad on the KK board and put a JST XH (balance plug) on the black & red pair to plug into the FatShark filter board.

Fantasic CAndrewGreen,

I would be careful drilling as its not solid plastic all the way through, rather a diamond mesh inside so you might end up with a coarse hole.

Looks like we've got our first free frame going out. Two more to go! What colours would you like CAndrewGreen?

Hi Neil,
A quick question, before printing me another one, is it an easy fix to tweak the hole centres and bosses for the KK board inwards by 2mm to 44 x 44? This would save people having to file their boards.
Another KK type flourescent green / black mix would be good! Say black base and one arm and leg, flourescent green top deck and one arm and leg.
Only other thing I'd suggest is to stick a bit more parcel tape round the edges of the box when shipping as due to the way the great british postal service handles them mine arrived partialy torn open, like it might have got caught on something.....and then bits might fall out.
