Gents/ladies,

In introducing myself I mentioned I`m very interested in something scale which carries passengers/crew and can be fpvd.   I specifically referred to a 182, Beaver or an Islander.   I have a completed 40% Cub which will be fpvd in the near future and the time is right to be moving forward with the second stage of the project ie, something bigger.

It shouldn`t take a rocket scientist to work out what I`m doing but I`ll still ask for help in finding the right aeroplane as briefly described.

So if any of you have, or know someone who has a giant, probably multi engined, good scale model for sale please let me know.   I`d considered a Ziroli DC3 but the low wing isn`t ideal.   A Flying Fortress, Liberator, Catalina and even a Sunderland has that ideal along with perhaps a Lysander and a Twin Pioneer.

Let me know.

Cheers,

Stew.

Hi Jake,

Thanks for that but I don`t think that model has a very wide fuselage and is more or less solid foam anyway.

Cheers.

Hi,
Try the FVP EPP from Hobby King, it ticks most of the boxes its big, it carries a lot of weight, its a pussy cat in the air, it tolerates a vast range of C of g and still flies. I have tried on more than one occasion to get it to stall without sucess. It simply nods its head and goes into a shallow dive. Its cheape and although i have not crashed mine yet it looks and feels fairly sturdy. On the down side you would have to be its mother to love it it aint pretty and dont have a lot of whow factor at the flying site, it also is heavy and has to be hand launched. Fit a 35 XX KV1000 ish out runner at about 400 W 11"x6" a 3s 5000 mAh Lipo all the gear you want ad go and fly I wasnt disapointed I am sure you wont be.
Or how about one of the "Star's " lots of information in the forums about Easy and Twin and are their more?
What ever you chose and there are a lot out ther enjoy.

Regards

John
