I, like many if not all the storm owners have been disappointed in the reading of the current from the storm, so I thought today I would have a play, using my watt meter I could see I was pulling 12.5A on full power on my Bixler but the storm only reported 8.3A no surprise there.
So after downloading the spec for the current sensor IC I saw that the output to the storm has a dropper on it, surface mount 1K resistor, after a but of playing I have worked out that replacing this with a 560R or 720R with give readings just a bit high or low but almost spot on. So next I will series some up to try and get it spot one, but my last test was reading 12.8A so I am happy with that.
I will post some pictures and a how to if anybody is interested in the next couple of days, and after I have had a test flight with it.

I have found that the Cyclops is not alone with this, the problem being is the span of measurement, when you can get it fairly accurate at one point of current drain then its not accurate at the others, so the mah is always out
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

No,once set seems to follow my watt meter thought the whole throttle/ current range.

Yes will post photos soon. It was R30 on the current sensor if anybody wants to play.
