I'm going through the gemfan 5030 props pretty fast on my FPV250, I have 4 sets (2 orange, 2 black) which I hoped would last a while, and 3 more sets on order from china, but as I am currently replacing the 5030R on front left every time I fly, I'm wondering if I will run out before they turn up.

Anyone know somewhere cheap in UK who has 5030 5030R in stock ?? Google came up with nothing.

Thanks for link thats brilliant, I've got two more sets of orange on the way, hopefully will last a couple of weeks - they are only a few pence more than buying from china (3.45 vs 3.09) so at least I know how to get more !

Strange there is no mention of gemfan or 5030/5030R in title, thats why I couldn't find them ;)

I've had two lots from him and they are Gemfan with the GF on the prop, surprised he doesn't mention it in the description.

I get mine from this guy on Ebay, fast delivery

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5-x-3-ABS-Propeller-4-pack-cw-ccw-quadcopter-tricopter-props-UK-stock-/221383933310?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&var=&hash=item7921ce2e83

Ebay item number 221383933310 if the link doesn't work.

Nice find. I wish I'd known about this sooner. I ended up sourcing the props from a Greek model shop, at a good price and fast delivery though.

Thanks for tip above, props turned up today, same seller also does HQ 5x3 props - he calls them carbon composite (again make not mentioned, so only found out when they arrive), I am hoping they will be a bit more robust but not enough to damage motors.

Should have enough props for 9 more flights now !!!

floatship sent Ady and me some of those black carbon type props to try..they do fly solid...but being stiffer, damage in a crash can transfer to motor ie bent shaft etc...we stick to the cheap coloured ones..
never ever give up...

Thanks for the tip, I did wonder, I have a couple of sets of the carbons so will save them for when I'm desperate, I have a bunch of the gemfan's and they are so quick to change and cheap its not worth worrying too much !

At least I have more new props than broken one after the postie came today, hopefully will last the weekend !
