I have been waiting in anticipation for this to be finished. The new V4's are now 32 channel so can be used on all 5.8GHz Vtx's

A large price drop from £146 to only $91 so much cheaper than their predecessors.
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

I really hope there's more than one button for selecting channels!

Two buttons, one for band, the other for channel :)

You learn something new every day.

Coyote

Ohhh your way behind !! :)

Saying that I``m on the older V2 -85dbm so I was holding off on the V3 for the V4, my time has come muhahahah :)

Coyote

Yes but it's still being finalized, due out soon, but don't hold your breath it will be very soon

Coyote

I hope they drop the price for that as well. They as with the 5800's were a little steep in price. But happily they have dropped the 5800 prices

Could I put a cp and a Patch( Immersion 13dbi longrange) on this vrx .
That way I won't lose signal when I return and go behind the patch unintentionally.
Cheers ;)

Coyote

Yes you could, but you can also fly behind a patch as well, not very far but it's not like a wall so as soon as you go behind your pictures instantly lost or anything.

Thanks, I may ask Santa for one of these then. :D
The video quality deteriorates badly when I forget to turn the patch to track the plane . If I use goggles and lose track of my position relative to the planes I can often lose video. At more than half a km the patch needs little guidance, its just close by I can get into trouble :o

FPVSteve

Same with any directional antenna tbh, it's more pronounced the higher the gain too

Drone 5

Might be a bit of a daft question.
I was going to get the immersion Duo 5800 V3. Now out comes the V4. I will only be using the standard Fatshark frequencies so I will not need the other channels on the V4. Is there any other advantage to getting the V4 apart from the 32 channels?
