Excellent, glad you've got it all up and running nicely. I'm really impressed with the AP, the TeleFly and the AAT. I've found their support is top notch too, and the don't scrimp on the courier either.

Not sure what's going on with the throttle mate, mine definitely doesn't do that. Have you tweaked any of the throttle settings in the OSD? Can you remember if on the left you had two values (airspeed and groundspeed)? I wonder if the airspeed sensor is working.

That`s sorted now Neil, we were talking on shout, Rich had the cruise speed set to 70 kph :)
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

Is that why it was diving down as well then, trying to reach it's target speed :)

Coyote

It was within 500m so on the activation of RTH it would adjust its altitude to its RTH set altitude, which must have been a lot lower. Normally it would slowly descend until it got there, but with full throttle it did it a fair bit quicker :)

The 2nd RTH was more gently cos it was farther out, still a quick turn but it started coming down at around 500m or so. I reckon what makes this AP better than say FY is they're using two processors, so quicker refresh and action.

Don't forget you can change the default to "keep cruise alt until home" then when RTH is engaged it will come home at that alt. Also you can alter max pitch up and down in degrees. I reduced my SW from default climb of 30 deg as that was far to much and could have caused a stall.

I leave the setting as-is and set the RTH altitude at 200m. The altitude you set is actually a minimum altitude, so if you engage RTH above the value you set it keeps your current altitude, otherwise it climbs to the value you set.
