Unbelievable, the cheapest servos out there have been copied with even cheaper knock off`s. So now its 50 . 50 wether you get genuine Hxt900`s or not :(
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

Thanks for the tip Coyote, I am thinking of pulling them all out and fitting the servo's i use in my heli,s

Acer-lab D12-mg,  all metal gears ultra reliable but nearly thirteen pounds each  but a little heavier by a few grams.

Hi guys another update on my easy star build

I finally found a way to make the battery lid secure with a diy sprung loaded latch on a carbon fibre rod works a treat, protect's the bottom and looks smart :) i did not want to tape it on each time i changed batteries.

Also the motor mount had to be modified to take the bigger motor so i used a carbon fibre off cut and bolted through the existing mount, i,m pleased with the look too :D

waiting for weather for a maiden now, will fit fpv and will paint and tidy after  :D

Hi Guys  ;D
Finally had her maiden fly,s like a dream with two up 2200 3s battery packs, balance spot on

Had an hour of circuit and bumps early hours of this morning with dummy camera and dummy vtx but now all fitted so i thought be good time to put up a pic.
She pulls a climb at 45degrees easily no adjustments for trim needed at all, i'm delighted with her.

My googles that i borrowed are playing up so no fpv for me yet but nearly there.

Just my new antenna to fit to vtx and finally ready to roll

just like to say thanks for everybody,s input on the forum i wish i had flown electric years ago  :D

Hopefully some time soon i will be able to post some vids when i learn to use an editing programme  :D

:D Thank you guys i,m definatly proud of her.

I have just come in from the local rugby/football club field

First fpv flight was twelve o.clock today i could not wait any longer but i was on my own so no flying pics nor have i got any recording equipment yet but OMG i,m really a little stuck for words.

I tried to keep my eyes on the screen but kept eyeballing the aircraft its going to take some getting used too but I LOVE IT

I have wanted to know all my life what it would be like to actually be in my model whilst flying now i know and just love the hobby even more.

A very emotional Dizzy  :D
