The 20km LR attempt was made only to test some solutions (antennas and so on)

We're planning LR flights at 30km and 40km

It's not been done by FPV yet, but Nigel Hawes and Brian Collins (BRC Hobbies) have done it accompanying the model in an inflatable. There used to be a link on the shop website. They used bog standard gear and a cheap Tx.
More recently it was done by a scale model Bleriot Monoplane.
Beng international I'm guessing the CAA and DGAC would have to give permission. The issue for the CAA certainly would be LOS unless the pilot and spotter were in a following boat. Sounds like a challenge though.

I've to optimize the plane setup (tx/rx/antennas/gps disposition) so I'll get better overall performance.

The 20Km flight was made in a place with very high RF pollution.

I think I can get better results (and distance too) in a place with less RF noise (with same vTx/UHF)
