no good for me, I don't drive. perhaps there's a mod, that will allow you to have the wings in 2 parts.

You could cut them in half, and add a carbon joining rod and have clips to hold it together.

seems to glide alright but got to be honest it aint setting my world on fire simon. Definately a bad design with the cover and like others have said the way the wings are held on are a pain for transporting, At this stage I wouldnt buy one, but thanks for your time and effort providing these vids and wash your spotters mouth out with soap ;D

Yea definitely a good video that simon, excellent stuff but - surely that kind of stuff should have shown up in early testing? You were lucky to get that plane down in one piece, imagine if a go-pro was inboard :o

Well the bird looked ok. Not the best, yeah the tip stall was user error not the planes design, the second problem however totally the planes design.

Im going off this plane in "stock" format anyway pretty quick, but nothing that couldnt be fixed. Lets face it, no one in their right mind would fly a Skywalker in stock configuration without expecting bad things though.

If im honest, and i try to be, that video was bad.

Listening to your mate chewing gum and swearing while not keeping focus of any kind was annoying at best. Pretty sure Hooks wont be using that one as an example for buyers.

Honestly mate, re-shoot the video

It was just a pants video and after watching it a couple of times the more I hated it,
I'm out flying today with her majesty Shakira, will get him to do a quick video while I fly, Probably win a BAFTA now

Well heres the updated video of the maiden and the conclusion of the plane, my thoughts alone but please let me know what you think so I can go back to lanyu hobbies and Robert(hooks) with the ideas I have and any you lot might like to add

Excellent Simon, much much better. Camera work 100% better and good conclusion. All very valid points in the conclusion, i think you pretty much hit the nail on the head for what really need addressing and exactly whats putting people off buying it.

I can only just get my Skywalker wings ( one piece ) in the back of Pauls spacious Audi and they are no where near the Raptors size.

Two piece, a permenant wing saddle and i agree, a much better bird.

Good review, I enjoyed that.

Is ther anywhere on that floppy canape section you could run some rods down the length of it, to stiffen the thing up, it may be a temporary fix for the manufacturer.

2 things from watching that video

1. did it have to much down-thrust as every time you powered up it dived.
2. i take it they were the 2m wings, some how it didn't look right (ok your looking through the goggles and cant see it)the wings to the rest of the plane looked out of proportion
