Watched this one on the Youtube app on our new television it looks amazing on a bigger screen. Great footage Richard, all that water and steep drops in the previous video must have been a worry it would have been a mighty long walk if you needed to recover the Discovery.

That Giraffe seemed to be watching you toward the end I wonder if he thought you were some kind of new bird life  :D

I watched this one on my Apple Tv on a 42 inch and it's not bad, but I have to say it might not be 'proper clean' because I had to do a first edit, then re-edit to music co's my computer cannot quick slice in 1080p well enough, so it's twice processed which I think has hurt some resolution.

Either way, it was a learning experience. At the time I was still using the Naza Lite firmware, and flew mostly on GPS which is not optimal for good shots - quite jittery at times and with that awful yaw in places. If I could just go back now and redo, fly in ATTI on the new firmware, and with the confidence I've built up, I'd take a few more chances.

Most places I flew the quad would have been totally unrecoverable... Scary at the time, but costs with less hero factor :)

The scenery must have been awesome, wish I could see it for real.

SA is cheap my good man £1 = R18 - highly recommend a visit to South Africa!

I've actually spent quite a bit of time in Joberg and Capetown but never had the opportunity to really spend any time looking at the scenery - all business and no pleasure. I usually spent a day or two at the most then flew off to some other Country - glad I don't do that anymore but at least I still have 250,000 airmiles left to use!
