Those of you who spend way too much time on here might have noticed my thread where my beloved Wild Hawk ended up on top of someones roof:

When I got home, the damage was, you might say, problematic:

Even the wife insisted (amongst laughs) that I buy another plane to replace it and I reluctantly began scouring Hobby King. However, this WildHawk and me have been through some sh__ together, we've fallen into ditches, we've been in trees, we've landed in my car boot. But most of all, we've shared some tender moments together at the kitchen table - just me, Wildy and some duct tape...  mm baby.

Anyway, where was I? Oh yea - I can't let it die.  It's like my first born, my first FPV craft and dammit it's gonna fly again ;D

SO - out with the pizza plates, hot glue, cocktail sticks and TAPE!

First off, I had to trim the smashed foam, and rebuild the fuselage walls. It fits perfectly, no gaps here, no siree.... :D

Then, I decided to add some more strength by sticking my pan mount on a big bit of pizza plate, er, depron, and hotgluing it on.

Then - we TAPE!

Then - we realise we buggered up, so it all comes off - electronics are rearranged and then we TAPE some more :D

Then - we have a shiny, new plane which WILL FLY AGAIN! Hopefully upwards ;D

Not bad for two hours - and me and Wildy will take to the skies once more! Away from houses though heh.

I think its served you well, but I think its time to retire that poor thing.
