FY41AP - Multirotor

I've had this thing kicking around for ages since removing it from another platform (plank) - dusting it off i'm thinking to flash it to a multirotor FC.

Has anyone used this before as an FC in a multi?

I honestly would not bother with it on a multi. I remember the grief people went through on the FY41 forum, it was shocking. All gave up and went for either the APM for missions and the kk2 for simple stuff. The support is crap for fixed wing and non existent for multi. And remember you HAVE to use the GCS to set it up and adjust it AARRRG. One of ours got the "doing its own speed adjustment" Eprom bug so we returned it to UK supplier for refund and bought a MFD for fixed wing. The other is still going in a SW168 but doesnt get a lot of use. We used an APM 2.6 with the off board compass and gps for a while on the quad but got sick of the constant updates to operating program and Mission Planner so we fell vout of love with the quad which is ow hanging in the wall of the man cave. Suppose I should sell it really.

its hanging next to a brand new MTD that wont fly due to being made wrong and a 1/5th scale mustang thats too noisy for our flying site. I am thinking of starting a "show me your hanger queen and i'll show you mine" thread

I flashed mine to multi rotor firmware a while back.

It was awful (it may of been updated loads since then though.)

Great in a plank, awful for mc

Rth came back, and then decided it wanted to fly off elsewhere.

unlike the naza though it would deactivate lol

based on the last 2 posts..... it will stay fixed wing! ..... in fact it's still sat secure in its little tin.

fleabay i think!! Got more FC's than planes/multis at the moment!
