I'd laminate it.

I never laminated my last 3 tek sumos and they were fine, but after building a Falcon Evo FPV wing and laminating that, I've seen how strong and indestructable laminate makes EPP... If I were to ever build another tek sumo I'd definitely laminate it.

I wouldn't bother with the tape to be honest, the tek sumo has a nice design already, the clear laminate will keep it that way whilst adding strength and rigidity, without too much weight.
