Found a guy in the US on FaceBook selling handy little personalised spanners (the main one on the end is sma antenna size!), great price including shipping so I couldn't resist...

Just make sure you remove the battery if you leave it in storage, got mine out at the weekend after about 3 weeks of not being used and the lid had popped off due to the battery puffing :( only used it a handful of times prior to that lol Dont know if anyone else has had issues or it's just my usual bad luck lol

Can't fault it other than that just works when you need it..... well will do when battery arrives  :D Two new battery's ordered  :)

Coyote

It must be your luck unfortunately, all 3 of mine have their batteries left in for months on end with no puffing.

Lol yeah that figures  :) must admit its a running joke with me and my luck  :) couldn't believe it. Always kept in its box, well stored and looked after. I went to get it out to show my brother in law and the back just popped off. On closer inspection the battery was puffed up  :( it turns on and works ok using ext power so i hope once i put a new battery in it'll be ok.

Coyote

That's normally my luck too, I'm now paranoid about those batteries :)

Sorry to sound thick but what is it. Dont say a dvr. What make.

Its sold under various names but on Firstpersonview.co.uk its sold as the Pocket DVR I think others call it the FPV-Japan and the Black Box VR1500 for example. All claiming different firmware, all exactly the same but with their own splash screen so don't fall for any hype.

PV700 from BEVRC :)

Same thing.

However, apart from the splash screen... ReadyMadeRC claim to have firmware that fixes the freeze-on-static bugs, and slightly reduces the recording bitrate in order to achieve this.
