As an additional note you will have difficulty printing ABS with the i3 plus as you won't be able to place it in an enclosure.

My V2.1 will be in an IKEA enclosure soon with the controls on the outside so adjustments can be made without compromising the heat.

Dupont type Servo wires and plugs....:)

Avoiding stripping and crimping my own, simply remove the single sockets and place into a multi connector, or use as individuals.
  This is so I can standardise my Cameras and VTXs with 3 wire Servo cables, and make up others.

   In a fixed wing...I calibrated the Compass, no problems, first time..and the Accs...10 Sats indoors in a few minutes from cold.

   Ok so far....will do some more setting up soon and let you know...Ridiculously cheap now, even this Pro version, plus all the capability you could wish for. And it's got SERVO pinouts.....:)....Mating it with a cased Minimosd and Arducam Firmware.
  Took about 5 days from Goodluckbuy.

  Still learning it TBH....but its fun.

Banggood has the same kit as yours for £60.

I do like the APM. They have better flight modes than the Vector and MFD controllers.

Runcam Swift

Would have liked the new Runcam Eagle (too pricy), but settled for the Swift.

This little camera has so many desirable features and Runcam have made the effort to make their product complete.




1. The mounting bracket locks and tilts just where you want it and has threaded brass inserts.

2. The feed cable is a Servo 3 wire type with soft silicon coating, ideal if you have pan and tilt.

3. Separate two wire joystick Menu interface you can just plug in and adjust with the Camera installed.

4. Nice box with instructions and even some spare screws and an alternate mount for Mini Multi fans.

Not that I can see at the moment.  There are two USB ports, both of which can connect to a mobile device with DJI Go on and display the received video feed.  I don't think both can be used at the same time though.  That said, I haven't tested it.  It doesn't appear to be like the Inspire's and Phantom's TX, where you can get a HDMI output from the controller....

The only way I can see to get the effect of goggles, is to drop your smartphone in a set of VR housing (A la google cardboard, or samsung gear VR).
