I saw Mike's DroneKeeper in action when we were practicing appallingly slow quad racing, and Mike's quad came down in the long grass twice.  I went home and ordered two units (one for my quads, and one for fixed wing).  They arrived in ten days, and are superb.  Highly recommended.

Yep, I have forgotten to turn mine on a couple of times.

My Dronekeeper also arrived, super happy that it's arrived as even though the farmer has cut the grass in my local field I still managed to bury the quad in a pile of cut grass last night!

I also received a new adjustable soldering iron as I have a build planned in the coming months and didn't fancy precision soldering the the rubbish USB iron that I fumbled along with in the past.

Postie had his arms full today, first item in a huge padded envelope from t9hobbystore, to replace the switch I broke when I dropped my taranis...
*Edit* Links added at the request of DS123.

Next is a lovely little soldering iron from banggood, can be powered from 12-20 volt mains adaptor or 3 / 4s Lipo and warms up to 300c in a matter of seconds, but got enough power to solder XT60s without any trouble. £35 with coupon code "WELDTOOL" Affiliate link: https://www.banggood.com/MINI-TS100-Digital-OLED-Programable-Interface-DC-5525-Soldering-Iron-Station-Built-in-STM32-Chip-p-984214.html?p=JN120678599082016128

Finally a few supplies for when I start my MT build. Glue as recommended by Votecks bought from wirelessmadness.com/bob-smith-industries-foam-cure-safe-glue-1oz-bsi141?

I really like this thread as I like seeing what people are getting and whats new. But can I make a suggestion that we start adding a link to the place where we got it from and the price paid (as they change over time)? Also I wonder if this could be used for affiliate links as I don't care about clicking on these at all if someone has taken the time to post the link it saves me time and costs me nothing.

I await to be shot down.....

Good idea, I have edited my post above. I think affiliate links are fine when they are marked as such.

Certainly a prolific gatherer of things... I'm a bit slow at building.  I did just mount the motor in the Skyhook though, so I'm having a celebration Diet Coke.

This one, I really only ordered it for the free Haribo :)

This turned up today

It's the 2.3mm version of the RunCam Micro Swift.  I recently tested out the 2.1mm version which (after some getting used to) I really liked.  I found I could up the camera angle quite a lot for going really fast, but because of the wide angle, I could still see the ground and so had no issues landing.

So it'll be nice to put the 2.3mm version side-by-side to see if it offers most of the same, with perhaps less distortion.... dunno, I'll find out soon :)

I bought this camera the other day as I was intrigued by the 5 star review and the £5.55 price.. delivered .. it arrived today and I'm actually well impressed with it.

It doesn't have WDR but the image quality is pretty nice. The white balance changing is noticable but quick enough that I can already tell it won't be an issue when flying and I tried it in low-light in my shed with zero issues.

Nice to have a cheap little camera for putting on something you don't really care about.
