Nice price Steve - the biggest issue with those is normally dusk when the sun drops, but if it's half decent, then it's a steal !

Well, I thought I was done for the day, but a DHL man just appeared at the door and had a small package in his hand and after ripping that package open, it contained this !



I'd forgotten about it really, as it came from someone  who asked me if I wanted to review one of those toy $12 egg sort of quads, so after saying no to various things she asked me if there was anything I liked from the website, so I found a little RTF brushless quad to test which is this thing here (the following is not an affiliate link, but obviously lets them track how many people click on it) http://www.rcmoment.com/other-products-2002/p-rm7993-1.html?aid=CurryKitten

So it's just 76mm motor to motor and runs on a 2s, with an f4 board, integrated OSD and (despite the contact saying it didn't have an rx in this version) a FrSky rx.  I do notice the camera mounting is rubbish and is flapping around in the wind - so I'll reserve judgment until after I fly it

These arrived the other day, but I only got back from London last night, so there new for me.
This is my first RunCam so I don't have a function lead, but it did come with a stand.
if eany one has a spear lead, I would be interested.

I have some with different cameras with remote leads, but this one only has two pins Simon.

Eachine DVR Pro ..

Seems decent - a LOT smaller than I was expecting heh. I had to fabricate a couple of cables to power it (5V) and connect the AV input to the servo connector it came with (but I expected this).

I've not recorded a flight with it yet but I did do a test by doing a weird dance in front of my camera and watching myself on screen - it's pretty laggy when you output it to the screen (using it as a pass-through) while recording so I wouldn't want to use it at all while flying - however, the recorded video was decent quality and was at full framerate.

I'm pretty happy with it for 20 notes.

My setup is basically this DVR + a screen + a vrx on the ground, and then me flying with my goggles using a nexwave module... the ground station is a completely separate entity so I couldn't care less about the video output lag while recording as I won't be watching the screen ... the fact that it plays back nicely if I crash is its whole purpose and it passes the test.
