Does that run 3" on 3 or 4S ?  Looks pretty meaty, a shelf there for a session as well ?

it's 3", 3-4S; good reviews on YouTube seems mental on 4s. I've measured the shelf and it's a perfect fit for this camera.I only forgot to order an RX I wanted the Frsky XM+ which are out of stock. :(

Got his nice package from DemonRC this morning (after I went to the post office in the wind and rain to get it)

This is to work on a follow up piece to looking at the signal using the little whip antennas (as often used in Micros) so aside from the mini cross hair antenna (and a MenaceRC patch I have from December) I'm interested to see how the mini V antennas perform.  The word is an inprovement over a wihp.  Not as good as a skew, but far more robust in crashes.  We will see :)

Oooh, a crosshair made in the EU and at a decent price, ORDERED!

Oh, a 5.8G Vee Dipole....I made one of those quite a while ago....Like the plastic encasement though, looks unbreakable.

Are the antennas for a review? If not can you do one on them  :) Always interested in something that helps video reception.

Yep - to be fair, everything is for review :)

I look forward to the review. Keep up the good work.

I've had a parcel that's been stuck in Prague since the 29th December - it finally turned up

It contains 3 pretty good looking quads.  First is the BB-66, essentially a brushless Tiny Whoop - so be good to see if there's a bit more power to it

The largest of the 3 is the FuriBee X215 Pro, one of the very few FuriBee quads to actually contain an XM+ rx, instead of those pretty awful D8 compatible ones with no range.  Design looks pretty nice

The one I'm most excited about testing is the GepRC Sparrow.  Is 3" the new 2".  Nice spec on this with another XM+ and Micro Swift with a 2.1mm lens.  Feels really solid (if quite heavy) motor magnets feel incredibly strong !  It also comes in a nice zip-up case

Reviews and stuff will be forthcoming

These dropped through the letterbox yesterday.  A few people recommended Gemfan Hulkie props over my normal choice of the 4-bladed Gemfan 2035's, so I ordered a few sets to try out.

Me again - for some reason this came as a DPD delivery in a massive bag and then a smaller bag inside and then finally wrapped up was this.  It was the worst game of solo pass-the-parcel ever.

As you can see this is a brushed flight controller with an OSD on it.  I thought it might be fun to take one of the larger brushed toy-grade things I reviewed before Xmas to see how it would perform when given a proper camera/vtx (instead of that wifi nonsense) and what would happen if I try and do a bit of Acro on it :)

I just got back from holiday today.  While I was away I managed to intercept a text from DHL and reschedule a delivery for Monday, but I did find a package from DPD that had been sat by my bins for the last two days and was wet.  Luckily the covering had kept the rain out, although the package was a bit squashed.

This is an Eachine Mirage E500 - a VTOL wing that transitions into normal flight and then back again

Looks very interesting, so looking forward to flying it and obviously putting some FPV gear on it... .although staring up at the sky in order to take-off and land would be odd !

Did I mention, it's tiny - I would guess this suits a very calm day

The delayed DHL parcel turned up today... and for the first time ever, something from DHL didn't include import tax !!

So a few goodies here.  The little packages are a 2.3 and 2.1mm lens to see if I can fix some recent issues of quads shipping with really narrow lenses (The Diatone Tryant had a 3.6mm lens with it !)

The TX is a iRangeX multi-protocol radio - it speaks many protocols as the name suggests.  I thought it would be a good portable radio for chucking in the backpack with the micros, but looking at it - it's actually fairly wide.  Pretty comfy to hold, but definately chunkier than I'd expected

I'm very excited to try the Foxeer box camera though, after some let-downs from GoPro (and skiing with the GoPro's in the cold weather the GP4 and session were lasting less than 30 mins whilst the Firefly 7s was going about 50 mins) is this the little action camera that can displace the session as the defacto mini-quad HD cam ?

It's slightly larger than the session (which is why I think Foxeer didn't get sued whilst RunCam did)

Which could create an issue when we already have moulded pieces to fit cameras into - although less hassle when you are just fixing it in with a battery strap.  We'll see how it goes !

I like that Tx, looks like it could be useful.

I think GoPro are well in the doo doo now, if you see the state of their shares recently its a company about to take a big fall. Maybe they will adjust their prices to lessen the blow, and maybe pigs might fly :)
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

 Arrived Today from T9 Hobbysport..:

Two Frsky XM Plus receivers, since flashed with FCC Firmware and providing Rssi in the SBUS stream.

These tiny receivers work really well and weigh next to nothing, great as a wingtip receiver.

T9s prices are nearly the same as Bangoods BTW, but you do have to pay ridiculous postage for such a tiny item.
