Ive just recieved some of these all in one naze32 stackable onscreen display boards,  same as the minimosd board but a neat form factor and has 5v and 12v regulators on board, as well rssi filter for either analogue or digital rssi.

A great advantage i see so far is that its quite easy to programme the osd and flash compared to the minim which was a pain somtimes. This uses the usb to update firmware and to use the GUI.

Ive so far uploaded the new MWOSD R1.4 firmware via usb to the board and the sketch  took instantly.  You have to use the matching GUI for the firmware which also connected via usb without issue.  Altered a few layouts in the mwosd gui and all wrote good so far.

next to wire a camera upto it and see how its going - will update with progress.

Looks neat. I like the 'stacking' idea and had previously looked at the WhiteSpy micro-minimosd which is even smaller but would need to be mounted on a 'carrier' board.

Hi Martin
Have you got any pics of how it stacks onto a naze board? Also will it stack on a wii board, say a Crius se? Or even a nano wii
Cheers mate

I have merged this OSD post with your manufacturing thread.

Selling the product and linking the product to your shop no longer means the thread is an unbiased review thread through affiliation.

Sorry coyote, im still a noob around here :)

Hey bignose - yeah il post some photos soon as they are very neat and tidy - ive pulled them off my site for now as ive issues with the board at the minute.

Shikra

Let us know when they are back I'd like to order a couple for my test rigs - they are very neat boards to run with a Naze.

Just as fyi - MWOSD 1.4 is still in officially beta - there are a couple of bugs I think now only one I haven't tracked down so should only be a couple of weeks before released.
Still flying up my own arse ....

Hi Shikra - great work btw - im running 1.4 and its epic :)

Regarding the osd boards,  ive had to pull them off for now as i cannot get the screen to appear properly on my test board - just waiting to hear from manufacturer.

Shikra

1 Try PAL / NSTC setting - if incorrect it can prevent data overlay.

2 Also try with USE_VSYNC, AUTOCAM and AUTOCAMWAIT disabled

I want to get it to the point its completely automatic for sensing of camera etc. etc. but its just time and pulling together a test righto do it.
Probably something for 1.5, but the basics of it are in there now.

The firmware works like a charm - its these boards i have that was giving me issues, but ive sorted it now, as well as being connected to usb to update, it also needed power to the board via the gnd and BATT pins.

Just uploaded and tested the mwosd r1.4 and test the gui - works and displays as it should now thank god.
