As I arrived at local flying site yseterday, I saw someone launching a glider.. A couple of minutes later It "arrived" at max throttle nose in..

Guy brings it back and says its a write off, so I said "Anythings fixable.." Anyway cut to the point .. .. He gave me the plane :o Even including the Futaba RX.. ( apparently worth £££) though I gave that away to someone else...  dont like Futaba much these days seems like a rip off .

Anway here is what I got.. 1 careful owner .. spares or repair  ^-^


not quite sure what it is, but its got a retracting motor, which goes into the fuz, and so I can see how that mechanism works, got ESC, loads of servos some electonic device (mixer?),spoilers and a retracting wheel .. May get around to fixing it or might just make something with the wings..

Anyway..."Dont look a gift horse in the mouth" I  say  :laugh:  :laugh:  :laugh:

It looks similar to an ASK-21 glider.

Well motor pops out the back so isnt that one..

Oh Forgot.. It came in a box.. just looked again got 2 manuals..

1 for plane, 1 for mixer ..Mixer is for the retracting motor. Says You attach the esc pwm to mixer and adjust it so motor pops in and out and turns on and off.. Looks like all that mechanism is intact, so will give it a go.. :)

Other manual is for the plane.. Apparently  its a ST Model Schempp-Hirth Arcus.  87.5 in span...  :)

Yep! "Everything comes to he who waits" ... Also seem to be getting on top of my OSD noise issues so not a bad day  :D
