So what does THAT button do?!

Flight Path Vector isn't it? For displaying a little white circle on the PFD to show the actual direction of flight rather than the way the aircraft is pointing (for instance if there's a crosswind or if the aircraft is "sinking" while pitched up?).

That's how I understood it from reading the 738NGX manuals I got with my simulator software heh ... interested to know if I'm right??

I used to clamber all over the one at Blackpool Airport.  Until they sold it to some moron who wanted to put it outside his pub but forgot to consider how he might get it there.

Yes, it's a bit of a sad sight really cos it is corroding quite badly. They seem to be having odd panels restored, but I guess it's a limited budget charity and they have other planes to look after too (like a luvverly shiny EE Lightning  ;D).
I guess 558 and 607 will be well looked after though - some guy I was chatting to was saying 558 migh get a license to fly again outside the UK - don't know if there's any truth in that.

A little bit of trivia; My grandfather was a designer for the tailplane of the Victor and my Wifes father was a designer for the nosecone of the Concorde. :flying:

I on the other hand have been working on my own "fuselage", filling it with lots of saturated fats, sugars and alcohol and seeing how large I can make it. Middle aged spread has arrived.  :cheers:
