A thing of beauty, my hats off to you for having the guts to fly something like that

I must admit its a nice model and super smooth to fly

flat out must be around 150/180mph but its also the amount of space they eat in the sky that really is hard for people to understand a steady turn is still very big!!

As you can tell landing and taking off is easy enough :)

I love it, but you must need good eyesight to fly one, at that speed, your out of sight in no time.

Well it sounds faster than it is, What you actually have to do is think of every part of the flight. So in the straight your already thing of turn and positioning, in the turn you have to be thinking right level out and a move a roll or loop etc etc as soon as you have performed the trick or even at the end of it think postion for a turn... cuban 8's and reversals and Split s you have to think well ahead of any move or trick.

You cannot fly like a nitro model everything is at once.

although if I give it some it will fly for 7 mins and burn around 3 litres of fuel

if I just tootle around and do loops/rolls/knife edge she will fly for 7 mins and burn around 2.5 litres of fuel...

just depends if you want to give it some or tootle around :)

All you need to do now is FPV it :D Jokes aside that is one hell of a model, would love something like that one day!

The XL is my favourite jet. Just flies so well.

I have flown an Elan with a Wren Supersport and it was very nice. Out of a tiny field though so when you had to go around it seemed to take forever for the turbine to spool up. Loved how there was no torque effects and it just flew like it was on rails. Really nice to fly, sound amazing and they are great heater when it's a cold day at the field!

Beautiful plane I would love a Jet powere plane myself one day. Have you got any video of the whole flight?
