I tried to go to Steve`s today to pick it up Rob, but that went very wrong. I ended up turning back after being sat on the A1 for 3 hours to be told it was then closed due to the flooding. Then spent another 3 hours trying to get home because all the roads I`d used to get there were now closed :(

Just not me week is it lol. Loose a plane, laptop dies, loose my job and get stuck for a whole day going no where lol

That's what you call a hell week!
Yeah ive just seen the floods on the A1 on Calendar. We've been on flood alert at work with the Aire right next door.
There's no rush, its a winter project. Let me know when you go for it as im near the A1 in Pontefract.

Hi All,
Just been talking to Andy, Ex-Chairman of Bardney Flyers.
He decided to stand down after 3 years in the job to concentrate more on "Just flying"
He did say however, that the club enjoyed our visit and actively encouraged me to arrange another meet.
I guess we must have made a good impression on the club once again.
Thanks for that must go to the guys that attended on one or both days for making the right impression.
As I don't know the New Chairman as I did Andy I guess I will have to make a start at getting on his good side.
Anyway if anyone is interested in a meet in spring then I will set about arranging it once again. I am back around the 11th of May that time.
I don't think I need to do a write upof the day as again those that attended have done that already in this thread. Cheers Guys.

Hi Chris,

Cool glad the club liked our visit - gotta say I had a ball.

I'm well up for another meet next year!

You learn something new every day.
