Interesting info Iwan. Also James account of it not doing g it in manual ( where as mine does )

I tried over the last few days to reduce the thrust angle to see if that with a retro would cure it. I can completely  on firm that reducing the angle actually amplifies the problem massively !

So I was in the process of giving it a tiny bit more when one of the launches nosed in. So I repaired but forgot to check the video feed. No video so I guess the camera wire pulled out so I will fix hat and then try again.
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

Have you managed to get to the bottom of this coyote? I have just bought one and I'm anxious to ensure it doesn't do it.

Is everyone using the standard elevons? They seem awfully thin- could they be flexing a little causing the bobbing? Ritewing always use the solid prismatic type ones....

Once they are laminated they are fairly stiff

Hi Guys,

This is a weird one, not had this one myself, could be a CofG feature, maybe add a little nose weight and see.

Check all linkages, as you have done. If in stabilised mode it occurs, then reduce the pids in pitch.

Test whether it occurs in a dead stick glide !

Just had a thought,

I had it once, and I remounted the camera, it was moving in the air blast, just 0.5mm or so,  don't forget that a tiny camera movement in a 100-120mph headwind will look quite big on screen.

Been flying mine a few weeks now and not noticed it. I will have to be more aware next time out.

I maidened my Venturi Evo 2 at the weekend, launched ok and trimmed out flew around for 10 mins and decided to try a forced stall to see how it behaved. It stalled at about 17kmh ground speed, it stalled it into wind which was about 8kmh. Anyway the right wing dropped and it entered a death spiral, imapplied power and tried to roll out of it but it wouldn't. Fortunately it went in on a freshly ploughed field so there was no damage bar a broken prop. Is this indicative of how this wing stalls? What's the best way of recovery? I love the plane though, it handles the turbulence much better than the Falcon.

A bit of nose weight normally makes recovery easier

Also so does adding elevon movement to exacerbate the stall and then trying to counter it, for some reason.
