Not quite sure what you mean by side thrust? There would be a little downward thrust i.e. looking at the wing from the side the motor should be pointing back and up a little but not much, looking at the wing from the top though the motor should point straight backward, not to one side.

The prop should be on "backwards" i.e. the letters on the prop should point towards the front of the plane, when you power up you should get thrust backwards, if not then reverse two motor wires.

Ok so motor and prop mounted and prop set horizontally inline with the wing, one of the prop tips is closer to the trailling edge of the wing than the other side, tractor planes have down and right thrust viewed from the rear of the plane but iam not if pusher planes have side thrust, and no the prop isnt bent ha ha

You can straighten it with some washers put behind the motor mounting lugs.

What are we talking here, 1-2mm or 5 odd mm?

If it's just a couple of mm you won't notice it.

Yeah sorting it is no problem i just needed to know if pusher  prop wings have side thrust, i must have glued the mount on slightly off

Sidethrust isnt necessary on these wings, but a bit doesnt matter. The motor angle in pitch has an effect ( Upthrust downthrust), but usually the only way to figure out if its neede is to give plane a bung and see if you need to add up/down elevator as you put power on. Just make sure the C.G and elevons are trimmed/throws as docs say before launching, and that is the best you can do for maiden ( Well remove excess weight like fpv gear helps too, as long as C.G doesnt move)

Is anyone having trouble balancing there wing, cg at 130mm from the nose and iam just taping down bits to find out where to install stuff, even with the fpv stuff on and situated at the front iam at 135-140mm cg,i have painted my wing but all up weight is still only 245 grams and thats with a 1000 mah 3s lipo

Just ordered 5 of these little wings, to prepare for a mini FPV racing league that our flying club will be running throughout the summer.  Should be fun I reckon!
Duct Tape and a Hammer.  A cure for all known mechanical problems.

'fraid I wouldn't know about that as mine is running a bigger battery up front, I will say though that on the documented CG seems a little nose heavy in mine, you may be alright with the CG at that point. Try adding just 5-10 of nose weight for the maiden and you'll probably remove that afterwards.

Well managed to get it on cg by adding a 2p and a 5p so iam not that far away but thats with any spare wiring pushed up front still only 250 grams ready to fly

Can anyone recomend a differant esc as the one in the power set just gets warm and now my spekrum reciever also doesnt work, would a hobby king 10 amp 1 amp bec be enough

I run mine on a Plush 12, seeming as I run 4S. It powers an OpenLRS receiver well and the BEC supports up to 2 HobbyKing amps, not sure how they compare to real amps...

Right so esc sorted after contacting Rob at flyingwings he kindly replaced it and it powers up ok

Next question is elevon position, ive used a straight edge on the underside of the wing to level the elevons which gives some upward angle but i now need to add reflex also, is this done mechanically with the linkage or through sub trim, it does appear it will have a lot of up elavator is this normal, i carnt believe this little wing is causing me hassle after building planes and helis for nearly 30 years

With the elevon in line with the bottom of the wing, this might be enough up. Just add a few safety clicks of up trim to be sure on the maiden
