Can see this working with a Multi, but think will be v. difficult to get to work with a fixed wing plane.

Would be very difficult with a fixed wing but its possible, running off a system like trams do. Still no substitute for petrol!

It sounds brilldid anybody else see the experiment i think its in Sweden where they fitting up a extra electric car charging lane so you can charge as you drive along with a similer system to the new phone charging mat :D

Isn't there a problem with this in that the phrase "Magnetic field" may cause havoc with any digital compass onboard?

I wonder how strong the field is and how it would affect the low voltage electronics?
