With the undercarriage being so short, the fuselage sits a lot lower... I would be worried for when you rotate upon take-off... your prop is going so hit the ground

That worried me too.
I'll just have to give it full knacker and let it go by itself in a nice scale crash take-off

I think the build videos are fantastic! Well presented and certainly a joy to watch. Thanks!

I'm glad to be of service. I certainly don't have the voice for build videos but I do possess tenacity  ;)

For your entertainment  ;D

I publish these videos a week after I've taken them now..... just in case I end up having to change anything.
Special thanks to Coyote for the suggestions :)

Very welcome, that's what the forums are for :)

Like you say in the video though, sometimes you just need a different opinion because you can sit and look at something you're making for that long you do become blinkered so a fresh set of eyes and ideas can make a difference.
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

The final part  :)

Thanks again to Coyote for pointing out that the EZUHF is actually outputting PWM on the physical outputs. My camera switcher was actually faulty (along with my brain).

Now.... what do you guys think of the FX-79 for my next project? I'm going to keep this one as lightweight and simple as possible and I've been itching to buy a big wing for 2 years!

Why do you want a fx79 as well as a sky hunter? Are there situations where one is appropriate and the other far inferior?

if blueflyer is to be believed then the sky hunter is all you will ever need :D

Curry kitten didn't get on too well with the fx79. Other than that I can't comment.

Did Wayne get rid of his?

I love building planes, I find it stressful but rather therapeutic and I've run out of things to build :)
