I'm voting out because I believe the EU has its own interests at heart rather than that of the individual countries. Having seen the way the country has gone downhill over the last 20+ years in terms of community fragmentation, I think it's important we have control over our own destiny rather than it being up to some unelected politicians in Brussels. I think they need us more than we need them.

However, it scares the crap out of me that we will no longer be subject to the European Court of Human Rights which leaves the justice system completely exposed to the whims of people like Theresa May and her rampages against the Internet. Snopping charter etc.

It's not an easy choice either way.

Edit: I'm mid-30s.

Pleased your voting OUT Steve, but the ECHR is also a two edged sword, the handwringers are using it on a daily basis to protect scum like Hook Hand and his enourage ...Its a fact you cant deny, as for T.May, not only is she a TURNCOAT in Daves control, she is also useless, a lion without teeth...thanks to the ECHR you seem so in love with..
The EU has been bad for our health for many years....its time to leave and take back control of our own destiny...

Yes, its ironic, you and I are the very group of folk who voted them in, and now, Cameron has really poisoned that appeal single handed with his obvious undying love of the vile EU Club....That said, I have never voted Labour and never will, what a bunch of HYPOCRYTS...they are, and the left over Blairites are still lurking...like  Harpic and that odious Abbott....Sickening self serving idiots does not even begin to cover it...rant over...Im off for a lie down now...lol.....:)

Rubish were in nato and the UN and we have tactical nukes unlike most of the EU. As for sharing intelligence we share more with the USA and Austrialla than we do with the whole of the EU.

So basically no major risk

They need us we need them basically, we should adopt the free trade agreement and if they impose a tarrif on us or limits we do the same.

Example China just imposed a 46% import tax on steel so why the hell have we not returned the favour. That's what we should do get a back bone and as the 5th biggest economy flex our muscles a bit more.

We need to just deport as many illegal asylum seekers as possible and get the message out you come here get a free trip home. I'm sorry but the UK needs to solve its own homeless issues 1st.

We should have the USA point system or say only 60000 a year

And of course we shouldn't pay for kids that are not here ;)

And as for the fact we help countries around the world with money like India that needs to stop, they have a space program so they can afford to sort themselves out.

Thanks Mark, saved me saying exactly the same....We as a country have quite frankly forgotten how to run ourselves to meet our OWN needs....Politicos  are the most guilty of all, seemingly quite happy to roll over to the EUs every whim....What really bugs me is when they say we have have to be in it to get a say in what happens...When did that EVER happen then..?
  It must be great being a Politico these days, having mother EU make all the decisions for you...exaggeration. .?...You decide...meantime, Vote....OUT.

The original EU thing was supposed to be about trading and that's it. It's the politics that's ruined it and got us in the position we are now.

As for India, yes we should help them for they are commonwealth. They stood by us in our time of need. The Gurkas in case you don't know who I'm on about. Poland is another country we should have stood by as W. Churchill promised we would.

my very first vote was a yes vote for the referendum to entry into the "common market", if only I could have looked into the future
and seen that it would evolve into what we now have which to my mind is nothing like was spouted at its inception,

free flow of labour seemed a good idea at the time but now it just means we have to take all the cr*p on earth and a huge number of those have no intention whatsoever of putting any labour into it, merely coming here to sponge with immediate effect


as for trade agreements the "EU" has handcuffed Great Britain far more and for longer than any sanction or tariff that could have been imposed
without any possibility of discussion with any country that might have imposed them

The threat the unelected Dictats of the EU represent a far greater threat Steve, than some snooping fears ever will m8...Leaving the EU is about saving our culture, Sovereighnty and very existance....Am I exagerating...?....I wish I was, think longer term, if you think its bad now, just wait...VOTE...OUT.
