Can anyone help me with hard wiring (for power and signal) one of these with an RJ45 cable, for ease of use with a TBS Groundstation?

I've seen it done, but never found any detailed info.

I've never done it but presumably you just take the DVR out the case and tap the appropriate power and av lines.

If you wanted to do it nicely you could desolder the power/av sockets and fit a female RJ45 block in there.

Otherwise not sure what you mean?

The DVR comes with 3.5mm jack to RCA leads.

The TBS GS pin out are :

So all you really need is video out and ground so pins 3 and 4 ( Green stripes and solid blue cores ) going to the yellow RCA of the DVR lead. Rather than chop the RCA lead I would just buy a female RCA and solder that up instead for a neat plug n play.
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)
