But what if the messenger is a total shit-stirring troll? He'd deserve a good kicking at least IMO!

HAHHAAH That made me LOL!

Gundummy

Not that I'm nit picking Steve. ... :)

And odds of dying in a terrorist attack while on-board is 1 in 25,000,000 (25 million) and the overall average of dying in any kind of terrorist attack worldwide is 1 in 9,300,000 (9.3 million).

Unless of course you are referring to the chances of being killed by an individual by the exact name of Joe Terrorist!!

Apparently you have more chance of dying from a coconut!

The point is having a little perspective.

I think I found the site you got your data from Gundummy...

Researchers - Bah Humbug to the lot of them I say.

(This could have been an entry into the Open Rant Thread)

How many times do you read in the newspapers that some 'researchers' now say that so-and-so is 'bad' for you. Then, only 10 days later, another item states that researchers now say that the same so-and-so is 'good' for you.

There are lies, damn lies and statistics. Researchers use statistics to garner their opinions from.

And, we all should know, that statistics can be manipulated to prove any point of view - both good, middling and bad. It purely depends who is paying the researchers !

No, I think what Dizzy was meaning was the sensationalist stories that Shakespeare used to come out with. I mean, have you read some of that crap?

How appropriate:
