Your dream drone

Firstly I apologise for the title. I know drone has a stigma attached to it but the alliteration sounds good  ;)

So, My questions are:

If money wasn't an issue, What would be your dream racing quad? Which motors/ESC's/Flight controller would you go for? which transmitter/receiver combo?

OK - I'll try and give you a serious answer.

I would spec the frame, motors, esc's, flight controller and battery with whatever is available in, say, 5 years time. The speed at which all components are developing is truly amazing. What ever 'super' spec. of components available now that someone else comes up with - is bound to be 'obsolete' within 6 to 8 months !

With my spec. at least I would have a racing quad that would be relevant and current for 4 years or so!

Best solution would be to get sponsored by the world's best supplier of all components - it's the only way to stay up-to-date.
Years ago I used to race indoor rc cars Schumacher, Losi, Associated etc. Whenever I raced against a sponsored driver, who had the latest motor etc. - you didn't stand a chance.
The same thing will / is starting to happen with quad racing. Being a good pilot is still important, but as happens in F1, even good drivers like Alonso & Button cannot 'do' anything when driving uncompetitive cars.

In fact to add to this i'm not sure if X: esc is any better than Y or Z esc?, same for motors and other peripherals? Especially for the prices we pay. 

The best racing quad would have to be like a mini TBS Disco pro in that everything is built into a PCB frame..... ESCs, FC's etc to keep it super light and more efficient......

Snap, I thought TBS would be all over a racing 250quad like a rash, maybe they are and have not shown it yet, who knows???

Well they had the Gemini which was a Hex, but now they have the Vendetta which is a 240 racer.

I like the look of the ZMR250 v2.1

Integrated PCB and loads of space in that cage. 4mm arms and a angled camera mount.

Gundummy is right though, the key to all this has to be weight. Keep them stripped out!

one that has freshly slammed into concrete at full speed, then accidentally run over with a steam roller, then burning thermite accidentally dropped onto it and , then a dog came a long and did his business on it.
