Looks really cool.

Supposedly able to handle 8-12 m/s that's pretty windy for a craft weighing 18g

That videos 3 years old now. The latest development has a much longer flight time, FLARE camera, rth and a mission planner. Bloody marvellous for its size.

Yeah amazing bit of kit. Version 3 will have a way of internal navigation apparently

Seen these first hand in Afghanistan... that's pretty much all I can say about it lol ;)

nah, the guys using them thought they were a great idea, but not very well thought out.... it gets VERY windy out there, and these things are tiny, so guess how much use they were during anything more than a light breeze???

Wow,

I can't believe how far Silverlit have come since I got my first one many years ago.

I get to play with these.... Utter shite!  :sorry: The taxpayer could get so much more for the money spent on these useless bits of crap

I do a lot of consultancy with the RAF and other military personnel.... and I'm reliably informed that they have a load of these that are sat in a box smashed up as they are such toss.

You wouldn't be wrong... And the MOD know it was sold a kipper.  But rather than just bin it some knob would have signed a 10 yr contract for parts and procurement.

I'd build them fpv kit all year round for an annual salary of the price they paid for one hornet.....

Rant rant lol
