What's the motor wattage? My cap built v tail heavy I can see why you put the esc on the front.

What kind of speed can you manage?

Did you have to beef up the motor mount? That was always a weak point on mine.

And finally do you find it needs re-trimming for each flight?!

mine is very tail heavy.. i think the design is poor considering mine is the stock 2s setup and im against cutting the foam out to slide the lipo forward.  I had to add over 200g to the front to balance it into the realms of flyability?

Looking at that pic im guessing ill need a whopping 3s fat lipo !!

I think mine needed a bit of weight up front too from memory. That was with a 3300 3s and the super light stock motor. All wings are prone to building tail heavy but I admit the cap is quite bad. Well worth it though I loved mine before I crashed it one too many times.

My latest one has been built as light as I can get it, even with the full set of spars.  I've fitted a 2210 motor and it balances perfect with a 3s 2100mah pack.

Still a waggley yaw monster though....

Mine flew much better after I made it heavier with repairs, bigger batteries etc. Handled the wind better too.

It would waggle sometimes though- I ran the smaller end tips not the bunny ears- not sure if the bunny ears would have helped more?

I've tried both sets of winglets, and I can't tell the difference in flight.  Unless it is flat calm when flying, I get the yawey yawey waggles.

My last one was built like a tank, and needed a fair chunk of lead in the nose to balance.  That flew pretty much the same, with the exception that it glided like a brick.

interesting- mine really wasn't that bad. the weight helped it to handle wing- although it did nothing for the waggle.
