Another bixler build!

I started building my bixler today. Took me a while to work out placing kit but hoping it will all be good. Any tips before I glue it together?

First 2 pics are the radio kit and osd,  the last 2 just checking connection lengths and making sure I can get access to battery.

Normally you would space out the vtx from the receiver but with 5.8 and 2.4 its not really going to bother it so yeah everything looks ok.

Thanks for having a look over it. Have built plenty of models in the past, including quads with cameras on, but not a plane so found it difficult getting to grips with positioning the equipment. just hoping I can get it to balance when it's all glued together! Pretty sure I will be able to by moving the battery around, but fingers crossed!

I would make sure before its glued. I do it by using masking tape to attach the fuse together, then you can pop the wings on and the lipo in and find out before its too late ;)

All together now, a little bit nose heavy but I should be able to sort it. Slight issue as the rear wing bolt nut popped out, so I have a bit of a job to do to refit it!

A suggestion for the future.

I've found that for most FPV pusher planes - initially being nose heavy is the norm. I therefore always move the rudder and elevator servos to be re-fitted on the tail section. It moves some weight back - and makes the servos easier to access for maintenance / replacement.

Cheers for the advice, this is a 1.1 so the servos are already a bit further back, but maybe could have gone a bit further. The camera is a lic ego, thought I'd give it a go as I don't have a GoPro!
