Cyclops Tornado throttle issue

Anyone else with a Cyclops Tornado OSD?

If you put it into PA mode (or RTH) with no throttle, does yours automatically spin up to a low idle??

Mine does - apparently some other people have this issue as well. What gives?

I've not had this issue on either of my planes that have the Tornado. I guess re flashing the firmware could be a good place to start.

Would an adjustment to the throttle stick endpoint on the tx help ??

If the end points were wrong then it should also behave in this way in manual mode.

I stopped using mine as the Z3 & Drak fly smoother without auto throttle control in PA and RTH, might just be the airframes.

AdamG it's using the latest version of the firmware, I bought the tool and reflashed it.

This guy had the exact same issue I am having (Skip to: 45 seconds in):

Curiously my Skywalker didn't do it and it's the same bloody box :laugh: :laugh: Same model of ESC, the only thing different is the motor I'm using.

Really odd.

When you switch into PA etc and the prop starts to spin, have you checked the channel values on your radio? Would be interesting to see of the channel still says 0.
