As my title says, What editing software do you guys use for editing footage from your Dji inspire 1080p and 4K.
My normal software seems to play up.

Two main choices really, Sony Vegas or Adobe Premier. I like Sony Vegas because it's fairly simple and easier to use. Premier is probably more powerful but also seems a little more difficult to get into.

Suggest you have a fairly beefy CPU, SSD scratch disk and ideally some form of GPU acceleration if you want any hope of editing 4K.

Thanks bud,  I have Adobe Premiere,  but it doesn't seem to do 4k, perhaps thers a upgrade I need,  I own CS4 I think.

We have a guy in our club who films and produces corporate video and he uses DaVinci Video Editor exclusively. Apparently it's free, works with Mac and Windows and according to him doesn't mess with the codecs when uploading to you tube etc

what is your usual software?
you could use handbrake to convert the file to a format your program's liking?

I just use the go pro app and then run it through movie maker once I have rendered it to 1080p
my use scenario is different to most users of the x5 though because I am using the go pro app to zoom into the 4k video as a sort of zoom. I then render it down to 1080 as no one who looks at my video has a 4k Monitor.
