This is my own designed RVOSD autopilot anti-vibration and levelling mount, works a treat in my Skywalker and soon the Ranger too will be fitted with one. :)

Well maybe in cloud you'd get some reflection, the dome is crystal clear and a short test indoors has no reflection but will see when I get out. The last time I flew I run the battery to low and landed on the gimbal and GoPro as I have retracts. For the Ranger in cloud will see, at least the gimbal will stay dry.

Since I have a few spare servos I decided to try and make a gearbox for a 90+ degree pan mount using a Hitec 65MG servo. This is the concept assembly drawing; I've been unable to animate the gears before printing to make sure that the gear train will work. I'll have to print a mock-up set to see how well the gears will mesh and also I expect to have to play with the printer settings? We'll see. The idear is to take a standard Pan and Tilt and remove the Pan servo and replace it with an adapter plate as in the bottom picture.

If anyone is interested do chime in with any advice or ideas. :brainwave:

ooops bottom picture is the wrong one it won't work like that.
