For me personally it just looks so out of proportion it should fly like a bag of crap. However we all know they fly really well. Should make a nice plane :)
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

As far as I'm aware, Storm OSD doesn't natively support V-Tail models. Perhaps just set it up as a regular ail/rud/ele model and plug the ele and rud into the V tail mixer?
The Cyclops Storm has no V tail mix but will be set-up as a Y lead, I've no real issues with not having a rudder on this model but If you did want a rudder the Cyclops Tornado is the answer and it has a live airspeed. Antikol and myself were going to run with Storms and I might upgrade to a Tornado or Vector depending on how successful the airframe is, the bench mark for me is my Z3. Wanted to keep this distance flyer as simple as possible.

From v2.1 I have read it does have v-tail support.

Although I haven't used my storms in a long time I cannot confirm this without going into the loft lol.

"Fully tested with different kinds of planes, support normal 4-channels plane, V-tail, and flyingwings."

But just because it says tested doesn't mean they didn't use a mixer with it.

I've just had shipping notification on one too.  Hopefully it will be as good as everyone says!

What motors/servos are people using in their builds?  I'm toying with the idea of building it in a field at Weston Park this weekend...

Just popped in to loft and here is what I found.

I did have the T-Motor recommended motor on it at first.
It lasted 2 flights and went pop.

The NTM motor has done a fair few flights and still going strong.

Cool, I had a look though a DVR of my settings in the Twinstar and there was no Vtail option but the software was the original that came with the unit 2 years ago, was going to do an update after I took it out of the Twinstar (DVR my settings incase it goes back in).
With all of these Mini Talons we really need a Talon meet, would be soo cool to run a fleet of said beasties at the same time  ;D
I'm off to Weston Park this Saturday/Sunday, will be wearing a tee shirt with a Mutley on it and will be with wifey saying "No" you have already got one! hehehehehe, say "Hi" if you see me  ;)

I'll be the one saying GABBY, wait a second lol.

Mostly at the helifest flight line, and probably the fairground with the kids.

Might take my NightBix for a spot of nightflying this year.
