A couple of shots from my local clubs Midsummer BBQ evening session. Both were taken around 21.20 the reccy one from 1000ft. Flying was still perfectly feasible an hour later, but it was getting kinda cool by then. The Phantom 3 camera copes very well with low light if you use the EV function. These however were taken with EV set at 0.

It's mad isn't it.  I was out flying until gone 11pm last night, and I only came home because I ran out of batteries.

I'm a big fan of the P3 camera.  Apologies for the logos on the pictures, but here's a couple I've done recently.  The first one was a 1.6 second exposure, and the second one was an 8 second exposure.

The last one is a dusk shot, but with some pretty grim lighting thrown in to the mix, courtesy of some dirty great big rain clouds that I was dodging.

Try flipping the camera into manual mode, set the iso to no more than 400, and playing with some long exposures.  calm weather helps greatly.

That shot of the bridge is a cracker and the second at 8 sec. is quite amazing. You couldn't hand hold for that length of time and get such a steady picture.

Thanks.

I was genuinely surprised at the 8 sec exposure working so well.  There is a bit of blur when you zoom in, but considering it was taken with a Phantom 3 at around 80 metres in the air, at night, It's alright.  I did get some other shots of the same event, taken using 3 second exposures, and they came out pretty good too.
