Not everyone has this "drones are evil" attitude, and yes it's very refreshing to see things like this.

Last Sunday (whilst Coyote was out looking for his downed tricopter) some dog walkers came by where we had set up. I could hear them talking amongst each other saying "ooh, look, there it is" and "I think he's controlling it from there".

I popped the mini talon into RTH mode and took my goggles off to talk to the family. They were very friendly. PK-Surfing and I showed them our equipment and answered their questions. I showed them how the plane would return to our location safely in the event of a signal failure. I even gave them my goggles to wear as I was flying it from my backup monitor.

Everything was fine and at no point did we hear any negative comments about what we were doing.
