Hmm, not liking the sound of 'Video Output:5G Wifi Full HD Video Output (Connect the Android Smart Phone or Ipad by APP and they can be used as monitor.)'

I know that's how a lot of them work but it means you couldn't use a screen or goggles, and there will likely be lag added by going through WiFi and an app.

Don't think it's made for racers anyway so little lag on bigger birds won't affect that system if it's working OK, giving 1080p ..

I'm really not convinced by these HD systems. IBCRAZY is testing one atm and it's really nothing special.

Isn't the ideal range of these things about 2km? which must mean far less when flying low behind a couple of trees etc?

FPVSteve

They're ideal for larger quads though - I mean 2km is a BIG ASS radius with one of those and being able to fly in HD is awesome.

I don't fly fixed wing further than that anyway.  I'll probably bite when they're less than £100

True- but that's 2km in ideal conditions.

Fly lower, humid day or a bit of fog, flying low behind a free and suddenly you're really struggling even quite close.

I hope I'm wrong.  And yes to fly in real HD is a game changer for sure of its reasonably reliable.

Will have to wait and see on this, chuffed they are now pushing 1080p, it will get better and cheaper as more units sell but when to jump in?
Skyhunter, Drak, Mini Talon, Z3, Z2 and 250 Vortex. :overexcited:

There was a guy on here not so long ago who had a working HD link on his Skywalker using Raspberry Pi's I think.. presumably if someone can cobble components together DIY then these people with an R+D department can come up with something cool. Hopefully anyway :D

Certainly worth looking forward to anyway, the next five years will see some nice kit!!

Unless we're regulated into oblivion that is :D

Did I read that right..?....A 100mw HD VTX on 5.8G..?.....1.5kms?.....Really, like to see it first.....Why is it only 100mw output?

The other niggle is the Monitor you display it on....?.. Last time I looked at a glass screened Tablet in Sunlight you could barely see it..? Goggles simply dont have the resolution to do it justice either.

Its not a negative observation, it's just a fact..... :+
