Good enough servo tester please?

Hi
I'm sticking in an order with HK for some bits and bobs. If anyone can suggest a servo tester please? And if you think of anything a noob might need it would be helpful in regards to maintenance (I've got tools and glue).

Very good with the speed adjustment so you can test the entire span on auto unlike most.

spare props
loose servo wire
crimps and crimping tool. 1 2 and 3 r pin is enough
solder
reamer
hot glue
their 30 mins epoxy is good
spare servos
control horns tapes
shrink wrap a few sizes
wire a few sizes
decent pliers
wire strippers
ca glue and kicker

  I use this one, pretty good for just a fiver and it has 3 Modes...TURNIGY.

Manual.
Centre.
Auto.

The Auto Mode drives the Servos end to end at a steady speed so you can do a prolonged, meaningful, soak test.
  For a Fiver its hard to complain and it can drive 3 Servos at once if you want...:)

Hi mate,

Yes, the most popular props are CCW rotating, sometimes called normal tractor props. So, if the motor was on the front of the plane in the usual position, it turns anti clockwise viewed from the front....Same on a pusher model too.
  Have to say HK have some really, really crap props on sale, so beware....I can recommend Master Airscrew if you can get one, 6 x 4 or 6 x 5 should do it on the AXN....Balance it..!!!!

You dont need a BEC for your servo tester, I use an old small 4.8Vdc RX Nicad.....Or, if the servos will tolerate the extra voltage, a LiFe RX battery....(6.6vdc)...They will run for hours on a slow soak test with the LiFe....Far more convenient than a BEC.
