  A lot of badly designed wings on the market, they remind me of those nodding dogs people used to have on the rear parcel shelf years ago...Just put it into Stab Mode and watch it nod and occilate in pitch..Some get worse with speed, a lot suffer badly from directional instability, constantly yawing....
  A flying wing should have a reflex wing section, but you wont find a single one on the Flying Wings UK site....Not sure why, seeing as they wire cut them...?

Could you elaborate on this please? :

1) agree on relying on stab mode instead of a well set up wing

2) yawing (same as tail wag?) seems almost a guarantee which is why they almost all have fins or wing tips to stop this?

3) reflex- isn't this usually just Induced by the elevons?

1) If the wing is designed right, Stab Mode will work just fine...

2).Tip fins help, but wings that wiggle and yaw constantly do so because they have insufficient sweepback..no amount of fin will stop it either.

3) A reflex wing section (as used in a flying wing) looks nothing like those being sold by Flying Wings...(for example) ...Tilting up the elevons does not a reflex wing section make....:)
  The type of sections FWs use are more suited to a delta wing than a flying wing.

The vertical stabs at the wing tips allow the waggle. Not an issue for slope soaring where EPP wings originated not so good for FPV. That's why Ritewing have been sticking them towards the middle to reduce it.

Proper reflex wing sections work better than a Clark Y with forced reflex using the elevons. Would you notice after sticking antennas & cameras out in the airflow, unlikely......

Perhaps the OP should get back to grass roots and get a Zaggi or similar and go sloping. You soon get the hang of flying when you have to walk down a steep hill after each crash to fetch it and that kind wing can take a hell of a hammering.

In fact, if he lives in God's county there is a PMP Hawk here he can have......
