MFD Current Sensor

So this is my first time playing with an MFD and tonight I ran the motor to try and calibrate the current sensor, plan was to run at a constant throttle until the OSD read 1000mah used, then charge the battery and compare the difference.

However as you can see in the video, the current reading was jumping all over the place, is this normal? Can't be surely

Oh and I've zeroed it with no load on the current sensor

Been flying 2 mfd for a while and never seen readings like that I think something may not be right

Something odd there. You don't have the same battery gauge on your display as I have. The sort of clock thing, bottom left.


So either the current sensor is faulty or maybe you need to do a cal joystick to get it up?

I turned that stupid gauge off! It's just pure screen clutter

Yeah, set the battery type to 0s, first thing I did!

Getting mixed messages about the current reading, some say all theirs do the same and just accept it.
Not convinced it's right, but the total used is pretty much spot on
