might be OK if you just wanna cruise around.would need 4s for any speed.

Really?! On a tiny wing weighing 700g? I doubt it will be a slouch...

But Perhaps a 1800kv motor would be a good comprimise between speed and efficiency on 3s. (Or run that NTM motor on 4s) There just don't seem to be many small 1800kv motors out there.

Aw crap... dont say that... I've just ordered 4 of the RS2205 motors (well they came with the kit).

They are still decent motors, just not as good as the new ones. If they are the newest 2205 i think they actually improved the motor shaft after so many complaints.

At least if you need spares (c clips ping off, motor mount snapped or bearings) i have plenty for you.  ;D

Flew mine LOS this week.It was really windy so wasnt`t easy to test.Only did one battery ,had plenty of power,I didn`t go much above 3/4 throttle .
Will give it a proper test, when the weather calms down and I can get the goggles on.
Heres a snippet of the flight which was about 8 mins total, not sure how much of the 2200 battery was used as it was to cold to hang about.
Take off was .....interesting

! No longer available

It looked pretty stable in the wind to me.

Is it a 2200 3s or 4s?

Yes me too. Can't wait to get mine in the air. Just need a damn ezuhf rx for it now!

Russ

I have had the kit version now for about 3weeks! I must get round to building it. Mine will be a simple setup, I have ordered the new runcam swift 2 fpv cam so will have basic flight pack voltage

Billy_boy_2010

Mine's half built I'm waiting for some servos and I'm ready to rock.

I really want to rock on 4s but the 2200 4s which will fit is only in stock in Oz only.

Russ

I have a couple of turnigy 9gram 1.6kg pull metal gear servos do you reckon they are up to the job on 4s batteries?
