Vector lost all of its config ... but kept my callsign?!

Hi people
So, after my last flight a week ago today I decided to plug into the vector and change my mixed units km/M/miles to feet and miles. Anyway, on starting the vector software it was apparent that the vector had lost all of the config. No airframe, tx wizard etc were all as if it was ready for first setup .... except I noticed my callsign was still there.

I've set it all up again but can't/don't understand why this would happen. Any ideas?
